You can now move apps to SD card with Android 11. This article will show you how to do it on your phone.
Android 11 has a built-in feature that allows you to move apps to the SD card on your phone. With this new feature, some apps that were previously not movable can now be moved to an SD card of your choice.
Steps to Move Apps to SD Card on Android 11
To get started, you need an Android phone running on Android 11. If you have not yet received the Android 11 update on your phone, go to Settings > About Phone > Check for Update.
After updating your phone, follow these steps:
Open Settings on your phone and tap Apps & notifications. Now tap See all Apps.
Scroll down and tap the app you want to move. In this case, I’ll tap Spotify Music. Tap Storage used by App and then tap Change if it’s possible.
Tap your external storage device and then tap Move. The app will begin moving to the external storage device. Repeat this for other apps until you are satisfied with the apps that have been moved to an external storage device.
Many Android apps do not need to be stored in your device’s primary storage. Instead, they can be moved to your SD card for added storage and more room for other apps.
