How to See WIFI Password on Android

There are times when we need to know the WiFi password which we once entered in our Android device. This may be required if you are trying to connect a new device to your WiFi network and you can’t remember the password.

WiFi passwords are hidden by default for security purposes and it can only be viewed if you’re connected to that specific network.

To see saved WiFi password on your Android phone, follow these steps:

  1. Open the Settings app and select Connections > Wi-Fi.
  2. Tap and hold the WiFi network that you’re connected to.
  3. Select “Manage Network Settings“.
  4. Enable “Show advanced options“.
  5. Tap on “Modify Network“.
  6. Select the checkbox next to “Show password” and press OK.

How to Find IP Address of WiFi on Android

To find your Android device’s private IP address:

Go to Settings > About device > Status. Your device’s IP address is listed under “IP address.”

Another way to find it is by going to Settings > Wi-Fi, long-pressing your current network, and tapping “Modify Network.” Tap “Advanced options,” then look for “IP address.”

You can also use a third-party app like WiFi Analyzer for this, but this isn’t necessary if you only need the IP address.

You can also find your router’s IP address plus every single device’s private IP under your network following below steps:

Step 1: Open the browser on your android phone and search for 192.168.1.1

Step 2: It will ask you for a username and password. Enter the username and password in order to log in to the home page of your router. If you don’t know the username/password then you can check it out on the backside of your router.

Step 3: Once you have successfully logged in, you will be able to see the IP Address of your router listed along with other network-related information like subnet mask, gateway, etc.
